This policy explains what [TASKY LEGAL ENTITY] collects when you join the Tasky waitlist and use the Tasky community, why it is collected, and what is never done with it. It covers this waitlist and community website only.

1. Who is responsible

2. What Tasky collects

• First name
• Last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Public forum username
• Optional business information (business name, business category, preferred language)
• Consent records — which consent you gave, when, and to which version of these documents
• Public forum content you post and comments you write
• Private recommendations you send to Tasky administrators

Nothing beyond this list is requested. Tasky does not ask for an address, a date of birth, an identity document, or payment details.

3. Why this information is used

• To manage your waitlist registration
• To verify your account and confirm that the email address is yours
• To provide access to the community after the 10-day waiting period
• To protect accounts and moderate the community
• To send Tasky updates, early-access information and launch announcements — only where you gave that separate consent

4. What is never done

• Tasky does not sell personal information.
• Email addresses and phone numbers are not displayed publicly. Only your public username, and an avatar if you add one, is visible in the community.
• Private recommendations are visible only to the member who submitted them and to Tasky administrators. No other member can read them.
• Your first name and last name are never shown next to your forum posts.

5. What other people can see

The community forum is public. Posts and comments can be read by anyone on the internet, including people without a Tasky account, and may be indexed by search engines. Your public username is shown next to everything you post. Treat anything you write there as published. Do not put personal contact details, client information or anything confidential in a forum post.

Reading is open to everyone. Writing is not: posting, commenting and reactions require an account that has completed the 10-day waiting period.

Private recommendations are the opposite and remain so — they are never public, and are readable only by you and Tasky administrators.

6. Consent, and withdrawing it

Accepting the Terms of Use and confirming that you read this policy is required to register. Consent to receive Tasky news and product updates is separate, optional, and unchecked by default.

You may withdraw communication consent at any time, either by using the unsubscribe link in any Tasky email or by writing to [PRIVACY EMAIL]. Withdrawing it does not affect your waitlist place or your community access.

7. Your requests

You may request correction or deletion of your information by writing to [PRIVACY EMAIL]. You can also ask for a copy of the information held about you. Deleting your account removes your profile, your consent records, your private recommendations, and your forum posts and comments.

8. How long it is kept

Registration information is kept while you remain on the waitlist or a community member, and afterwards for [DATA RETENTION PERIOD]. Consent records are kept for as long as needed to evidence the consent given.

9. Where it is stored

Information is handled by the Tasky Django backend and stored in PostgreSQL. Access is restricted by database-level Row Level Security rules, so one member cannot read another member’s private information even in the event of an application error.

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are taken to protect this information. No system can be described as completely secure, and no such claim is made here.

10. Cookies

This site sets a session cookie once you sign in, and a small preference cookie remembering your chosen language and theme. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

11. Changes

If this policy changes materially, registered members will be told at the email address they registered with. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
